OUR AUTUMN EXPLORATIONS - OCTOBER

Summer is over and has given way to autumn with its thousand colors.

And this is the best season to explore the mountain and get to know it.

Here is our active program for the month of October.

TUESDAY_WALK THROUGH THE LARCHES AND "GERMANO'S HUT". One-day trekking starting from the small village of Menas. Walking on a white road, we reach Malga Monte Bassa. From there, we take the spectacular route to discover the majestic "laresi de la tegia", 25 enormous secular larches with curious shapes that rise towards the sky. Once we reach a glade we stop to admire the view on the Brenta Dolomites and on the Adamello. With a short but strong climb, we then reach the "Bait del Germano", a shelter always open for hikers, one of those that we can call "an happy place" (find out its story HERE). Here we will stop to admire recharge our batteries with our packed lunch, before going back to the starting point. Difficulty level: medium. Cost of participation €39 per person. Sign up within 6pm on the previous day. Added packed lunch €8 per person. Departure at 9.00, return around 15.30. Transfer with MONROC Bus (maximum 8 seats). AVAILABLE LANGUAGES: ITALIAN AND GERMAN.

WEDNESDAY_E-BIKE TOUR VAL MELEDRIO. Set off from MONROC at 9:00 am. First stop is Costa Rotian, followed by the "Lec" path that takes us to Val Meledrio. Going uphill through this valley, we will reach Malga Mondifrà. Then we will continue our tour towards Malga Vigo and Malga di Darè. We will then go downhill to Folgarida, from where we will come back to Monroc (around 1 pm).  Difficulty level: medium. Sign up within 6 pm of the previous day. Minimum 2 participants. Cost of participation €49 per person (e-bike rental and equipment included).

THURSDAY_A LOOK AT THE BRENTA. One-day trekking guided by Attilio in the middle of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. A round trip that offers a wonderful view of the Brenta Dolomites. Departure from Patascoss, climb towards Lago Ritorto, descent to Pian dei Mughi and return to Malga Ritorto. Difficulty level: medium. Cost of participation €39 per person. Sign up within 6pm on the previous day. Added packed lunch €8 per person. Departure at 9.00, return around 15.30. Transfer with MONROC Bus (maximum 8 seats). Minimum 2 participants. AVAILABLE LANGUAGES: ITALIAN AND GERMAN.

FRIDAY_E-BIKE TOUR OF THE FORTS. Departure at 9.00 from Monroc. Through the cycle path we will reach Mezzana, from there we will climb along the old road that leads to Passo del Tonale. On the dirt road we will first pass the village of Vermiglio to continue towards Velon up to Malga Pecè. From there we will go up towards Passo del Tonale always on a dirt road. Once at the pass we will continue along the Path of Peace, we will first arrive at the San Bartolomeo Hospice and from there towards the ruins of the former Forte Mero. From Forte Mero we will then climb up to Forte Zaccarana before starting a long descent to Forte Strino. From Forte Strino we will then continue on the dirt road that will take us above the village of Vermiglio and then continue the descent to Ossana and conclude our tour. Expected return around 1.30 pm to the Monroc. Sign up within 6 pm of the previous day. Difficulty level: medium/difficult. Time: 5h. Minimum 2 participants. Cost of participation €49 per person (e-bike rental and equipment included).

SATURDAY_THE CHISEL OF TIME - THE SECULAR LARCHES IN VAL DI RABBI. Set off from MONROC at 9.00. With our minibus we will reach the Coler car park in Val di Rabbi, the starting point of our trekking. We climb towards the thunderous Saent waterfalls, and then continue to Prà di Saent. From here starts the staircase with 23 gigantic larch trees with curious shapes, 500 years old. Attilio will tell us their story. Expected return to the hotel at 3 pm. Added packed lunch € 8 per person.  Sign up within 6.00 pm of the previous day. Difficulty level: medium. Cost of participation €39 per person. Transfer with MONROC Bus (maximum 8 seats). AVAILABLE LANGUAGES: ITALIAN AND GERMAN.

SUNDAY_E-BIKE TOUR* WITH ANDREA_TOUR VALPIANA – LAGO DEI CAPRIOLI. Not available on 22.10. Departure from MONROC at 9.00 am. We take the Val di Sole cycle path up to Ossana where we will cycle alongside the medieval castle of San Michele and then climb towards Valpiana. Once in Valpiana we will travel across the valley until we reach Malga Valpiana; we will then continue on a white road that will take us up to Malga Bassa di Fazzon and then undertake a short climb up to Lago dei Caprioli. From there the descent will begin which will take us to Pellizzano and then continue to MONROC. Return around 12.30. Difficulty level: medium. Sign up within 6 pm of the previous day. Minimum 2 participants. Cost of participation €49 per person (e-bike rental and equipment included).

*E-bike tours are suitable for those who already have experience with mountain biking uphill and downhill. The tours take place on dirt roads and mountain paths.

We have trekking poles and backpacks available, while for e-bike excursions you will be provided with a helmet.

*cancellation is possible until 18.00 of the previous day for trekking and e-bike tours and until 12.00 of the previous day for the morning trekking with breakfast. Excursions canceled after this deadline will be charged.
