UCI MOUNTAIN BIKE & TRIALS WORLD CHAMPS

DOWNHILL+ FOUR CROSS + TRIALS  |  MASTER DOWNHILL+ CROSS COUNTRY

Are you sporting, Bike lovers or simply cutched up with the sportly news? Then you already heard about the event that will spice Val di Sole up, the Uci Mountain bike and trials world championship. 2016.

Two weeks, form 29 august to 11 september, that are dedicated at the Downhill, Traisl and Four-Cross specialities for the BIG category and the cross country and downhill specialities for the MASTER category.

Adrenalin and show will be the protagonists, and everything will be reached with a big variety of other appointments and events with a reach programm. Besides the competitions you will be able in fact to assist to shows of "bike evolutions" that the same competitors will put into effect and of course they won't miss live concerts for all the tastes.

The wrold championship preview will be on sunday the 28th of august with the Val di Sole Marathon starting from Malè, and then will follow the intensive races calendar that will have location on the Daolasa tracks.

Alltogether are expected 6 000 persons, with over 1.500 athletes of 50 nations, while the employees to the logistics will be around a thousand.

The world championshiop curiosity? The bike handpolished of the champion Loïc Bruni. Secret plan for the young french champion that is by now one of  the favorite, the painting that appears as a shiny chromium plating is actually a trick and it would have added weight to the loom, as Roure remembers us.This bike has been hand polished by the champion same that  had worked secretly, exploiting the precious leisure time that has remained him after having worked hard to the World Cup competitons to prepare the bike in time.

Train: for sure the more confortable and safe solution. It's possible to reach Daolasa by train from Trento to the Daolasa station, wehre you will entry directly in the World Champiopnship village center.  

By car:

FROM BOLOGNA – VERONA AND FROM BRENNER

On the Brennero A22 motorway, exit at the San Michele all’Adige toll gate, take a right and follow the SS43 (national road) through Val di Non, once you pass Cles take the SS42, following directions for Passo Tonale.

FROM BERGAMO – BRESCIA

Follow the SS42 (national road) to Passo Tonale.

You will find the parking signs near the venue in Commezzadura Frazione Mastellina, or in Commezzadura Frazione Piano or in the neighbouring villages Dimaro or Mezzana.

From this villages you can reach the race area by feet on the cycling path (1 km walking distance) or by train.
