AUTUMN EXPLORATIONS_FROM 22ND SEPTEMBER

Summer is giving way to autumn, with its thousand colors and scents.

We always take you on adventures, exploring the most magical places.

Here is our active program starting from September 22nd.

MONDAY_TREKKING "THE DANCING WATER OF THE DOLOMITES"

A full-day trek starting at 8:30 AM from Monroc to reach Mavignola. We will hike through Val Brenta, crossing the plain of the same name (1265 m), which offers a magnificent panoramic view dominated by Crozzon di Brenta. The trail continues along a stream and through the forest, climbing gently to reach first the middle waterfalls and then the higher Valesinella waterfalls. From Malga Alta, we will head towards the Casinei refuge along the mountain's side. Accompanied by the Dolomites, we'll capture a memorable photo before regaining our strength and descending via trail 317 to the Valesinella Refuge. Shaded by beech trees, we will return to the starting point.

THURSDAY_TREKKING "AMONG THE SWISS PINE TREES"

Today's trek takes us to Val di Peio, heading towards Malga Mare. Upon reaching the malga, the trail climbs steeply towards the “Salt dei gembri” waterfall, offering a balcony where we can refresh and snap an enviable photo among our favorite pine trees. The trees thin out as we navigate switchbacks, crossing bridges between roaring streams and smooth rocks, arriving at Pian Venezia to enjoy a view of the surrounding glaciers and their moraines. A break at the malga will recharge us before descending through fragrant larch trees to our starting point.

Departure: 8:30 AM. Return around 3:30 PM. Transportation by MONROC Bus (max 8 seats).

Difficulty level: Medium.

ROCmoments: The history of the "gembro," the view from Pian Venezia.

After passing through Pejo, we head towards Fontanino and take a left to visit the Fortino Barba di Fior. We continue to Fontanino and climb to the Lago di Pian Palù, then ascend to Malga Giumela before crossing the valley and descending along the military road to Malga Frattasecca.

SATURDAY_TREKKING "SILENCE… THE FOREST SINGS"

A full-day trek guided by Attilio. We start from MONROC towards Val di Rabbi, specifically above the village of Piazzola. From the parking lot, we hike towards Malga Caldesa, and after about 40 minutes, we will glimpse the beginning of the "Fruscìo" sound trail. Wind chimes hang from towering larches, hollow trunks resonate under your touch, and a piano is perched atop a larch. A grassy square invites you to lay on wooden benches and gaze at the sky. Let yourself be lulled by the sound of the wind, the forest's song… you’ll feel at peace! Recharged by the delightful Monroc picnic under an ancient tree, we continue our journey, listening to Attilio's stories of the pastures and the surrounding area. The forest’s energy guides us back along the malga path to Malga Caldesa. It’s safe to say, the day… flew by!

Departure: 8:30 AM. Return around 3:30 PM. Transportation by MONROC Bus (max 8 seats).

Difficulty level: Easy.

Distance covered: 11 km. Elevation gain: 600 meters.
