Hop on board our minibus, destination Madonna di Campiglio. From there, we walk towards the turquoise waters of Lago Montagnoli and then gently climb up to Malga Fevri. A final push up the nearby hill – with the breathtaking Brenta Dolomites as a backdrop – and off we go, accompanied by the whistles of marmots, towards Lago Spinale. Here, a well-deserved break by the shore, because every explorer knows when it’s time to recharge.
We set off again with a light step towards Monte Spinale, crossing the Malga Boch area: Rendena cows, edelweiss, and the fresh scent of the mountains. The final stop is Rifugio Spinale for a panoramic coffee break, then down we go, through pines and the scent of resin, back to our starting point.

Wake up early, we leave at 6! The minibus takes us straight to Val di Peio, where the adventure begins right away: about an hour’s walk among rhododendrons and the crystal-clear sound of the Noce Bianco river. The destination? A mountain hut welcoming us with a delicious alpine breakfast, while the sun paints the valley in gold. Then off we go again! The trail leads us to the Gembro waterfall, a natural spa inside the Stelvio National Park. The air is filled with the scent of Swiss pine, our steps feel lighter as we climb over glacier-polished rocks, our gaze lost in the glaciers of the Cevedale group. Time to head back down, but first… feet in the icy stream! A burst of pure energy to recharge and keep exploring.

8:45 AM, let’s go! From the doors of MONROC, we take the cable car straight up to Alpe Daolasa, where our tour begins. First stop? A spectacular descent with a view of the Dolomites down to Malga Dimaro, then off towards Campo Carlo Magno. From here, we continue on a white road past the Campiglio Caves, reaching the climb that takes us to Malga Fevri, a true natural balcony with breathtaking views. But that’s not all! We keep climbing up to Monte Spinale (Chalet Spinale) before descending to Malga Montagnoli for a loop around the lake. Final stop: Malga Mondifrà, then full speed down Val Meledrio, returning to MONROC with full hearts and legs already itching for the next adventure. Expected return at 1:00 PM… but who wants to stop?

We leave MONROC at 8:45, heading to Val di Rabbi! Upon arriving at the Coler parking lot, we immediately dive into the forest, enveloped by the intense scent of red fir trees. The trail climbs steadily to Malga Maleda Bassa, where charming wooden bridges reveal a hidden treasure: the sparkling waterfalls of Val Maleda. Here, we take a strategic break for a photo and a sip from Attilio’s backpack. Then off we go, through high pastures, the sound of cowbells, and the valley peaks watching over us. The forest opens up, the panorama turns epic, and we take the luxury of soaking it all in. And then, there it is—our destination: Malga Maleda Alta, the perfect refuge to recharge with traditional dishes and warm hospitality. But every journey has its return, and ours leads us back through the Park, with gentle descents and flat stretches… eyes open, because deer and roe deer love to make an appearance!
